Skiddy Smitty

Backstory: Skiddy Smitty is a recycling cart, feeding off of newspapers, cans, and cardboard.

Personality: Ambitious. Hearty appetite. Quirky sense of humour. A litttle goofy. Smitty is generous and readily offers cans to those in need so they can return them for a deposit.

Hopes: Smitty hopes one day to grow as big as a dumpster, which would mean that more people are recycling.

Hobbies: Because Smitty is "always going green," he has grass stuck in his wheels. Or maybe it is from the grass that gets caught on his wheels when he gets a little loopy-with-hunger and goes for a spin through backyards. When no one is looking, Smitty also enjoys popping wheelies down alleys. But only when no one is around, because sometimes (well, often) he wipes out.

Home: Alleys, parkades, driveways.

Favorite Food: Newspaper sandwiches, crunchy bottles, tin can candies and plastic bag gum.
