When you require a container to handle larger items such as construction debris, landscaping refuse, industrial by-product or simply large volumes of waste, Smithrite has roll off containers and services to meet your needs. Roll off bins are available on a scheduled or temporary basis. One of our trained Customer Service Representatives will take your call or email and work with you to set up the service that makes sense for you.

What Roll-off container size is available?

Smithrite offers containers ranging in sizes from 8 Cubic Yards to 40 Cubic Yards, standard bins are Open – Top style however lidded bins are available.

What type of pick-up schedule is available for your Roll-Off bin?

We offer services tailored to your needs, from “on call” service to 7 days per week service for anyone in the Metro Vancouver area.

How full can I load the bins?

Containers should be loaded level (only to the top of the sides of the bin ) and should weigh no more than 10,000 Kg.

Are there any load restrictions?

Yes, the following are our load restrictions:

  • Dirt, Rubble, Rock, Bricks, Concrete: 10 Cubic Yard Container Size Maximum.
  • Drywall, Gypsum, Gyproc: 30 Yard Container Size Maximum.
  • Stucco: 20 Yd Container Size Maximum.
  • Roofing (Tar & Gravel Shingles): 20 Yd Container Size Maximum.

Are there materials banned from landfill?

Yes, there are certain materials that Metro Vancouver disposal facilities do not accept, either because there are already disposal programs set up for these items, or because they are hazardous to waste collection workers, the public and the environment.
